Ingredients

  • 2 Whole eggs
  • Egg whites [Optional]
  • Chicken broth
  • 1 L Water
  • 2-3 tsp Corn starch [Optional]
  • Salt
  • White pepper

  • 1 Medium sized pot

Preparation

  • Fill pot with water and bring to boil
  • Add chicken broth and seasonings to the water
  • Once water is boiling turn down heat to keep it simmering
  • Thicken by making a slurry out of the cornstarch (combine with cold water) and then add to pot
  • Crack eggs into a bowl or cup (preferrably something with a pouring edge)
  • While stirring pot in one direction, slowly pour in egg mixture to create ribbons in soup
